This is a musical evocation of a mythical kind of Europe. It ranges from the Iberian influences of “Three Horsemen From Segarra”, to the glaciers of the Alps, as imagined in the track “Das Tal” This was inspired by a remote valley in Switzerland. You will also find everything in between, (Including morris dancing, and a take by Tolkien of an old nursery rhyme).

This album is dedicated once more to Chas Pinder for his tireless help and support over the years.
The music is highly eclectic. Although the guitar is probably the main instrument, you will also hear a lot of keyboards,
orchestral sounds. The Range goes from acoustic guitar, sometimes using traditional themes, sometimes using self penned material, through orchestral, German style electronics, all the way to Hard Rock....more
Max Hunt is a very talented and versatile Keyboard player, and an old friend, This album is inspired by some of Tolkien's creation stories. You may recognise the guitar player! Colin Masson
I fell in love with this the first time I heard it, the playing is next level, and though mostly acoustic, the arrangements are adventurous, but never over the top. Colin Masson
This is beautifully constructed and intricate, it also has "that" guitar sound, I have only just discovered this but will be listening to it a lot. Colin Masson

The third Sanctuary album is also the best of the trilogy. This one dares even more to expand the Oldfieldian style in new and exciting directions. It may be sacrilege to suggest it, but if this *were* a genuine Oldfield album, many might say it was one of his best, too. It's true that Rob Reed is standing on the shoulders of a giant, but he is a giant talent in his own right.
Often the music brings tears to the eyes, as if it were the soundtrack to the climax of a hard-won cinematic story. nickgreen90125

The Ringmaster continues in what we might call the 'Oldfield genre', but for three albums Rob has been evolving his own unique style of it, and here is where it fully breaks out. Exhilarating melodies and rhythms, epic scale, and pristine yet intimate production, all with hints of a fairytale story just out of sight. Actual fave track is 'The Gatekeeper/The First Large Water', with its QE2 vibes. nickgreen90125
